Wedding Anniversary

Hello everyone! Today I am switching gears to share something special with you. It is my husband Chad and my four-year wedding anniversary today (happy anniversary, honey if you are reading… and you better be!). Because I am new to blogging, I haven’t previously shared the photos from our wedding so I thought it would be fun to post a few favorites. Chad and I got married at HammerSky Vineyards in Paso Robles. My family has a beach home in that area that we have been going to ever since I can remember. When I was little, I remember thinking this is where I am going to get married. During the time when we planned the wedding and the wedding itself, so many things went wrong (if you are married or planning a wedding you know what I am talking about), but the one thing that was absolutely perfect was HammerSky.

One of my favorite movies of all time is Breakfast at Tiffany’s, and both Chad and I love breakfast (and especially coffee) so we had a breakfast wedding with Breakfast at Tiffany’s being our color theme- black & white stripes with pops of Tiffany blue. We got married under a 100-year-old oak tree, that had peonies strung from it and looked as if they were floating in the air. My stepdaughter Lily, who was 4 at the time, was our flower girl, and she was just a precious little doll. After the ceremony, we had a beautiful brunch with an omelet station and muffins (my favorite!). Instead of having a reception (since it was late morning), we went wine tasting, and I changed into a little white number. I will never forget Chad’s face when I walked out in it. He was speechless in a good way.

I also posted our wedding trailer below. It is a 6 minute video, and it gives you such a good feel for our wedding day. I get emotional every time I watch it.
