The Surf and Sand Resort in Laguna Beach is one of my favorite spots in Orange County! Even though we live a 20 minute drive from the resort, we have stayed there a handful of times for a mini local staycation. A few reasons why I love this resort so much:
- LOCATION! It’s right on the water. If you are going to stay there and can swing it, splurge to get the ocean view. It’s worth it!
- The pool. It’s cute and Instagrammable. I love the size of the pool area. It’s not too overwhelming which is perfect for moms trying to keep track of their energetic 5 year old son (hand raised here). Also, it is very convenient to move from pool to beach and back to pool. It is literally just a quick trip down one flight of stairs.
- Splashes Restaurant + Splashes Bar. Both the restaurant and the bar have the best ocean views. And in my opinion, one of the best scenic dining views in Orange County. The restaurant is upscale but still comfortable, and my hubby and I celebrated our 5 year anniversary there. This last trip because we had Max with us we went casual and dined at the bar (the view is just as spectacular).
We are remodeling our master bedroom (can’t wait to show you guys!) and stayed a few nights at Surf + Sand while the heavy duty painting was happening. These are a few of my favorite things I wore on our trip. I have a major swimsuit addiction and can’t stop buying swimwear. Problem is I haven’t been working out much since my surgery, and I have some work to do to get summer ready.
