Happy Friday lovelies! This week has FLOWN by! Max starts summer school at a new school on Monday, and they requires him to be potty trained. All week my focus has been potty training. He had really been resistant to potty training up until this point, and knowing that we were running out of time had a dark cloud of anxiety weighing on my shoulders. How is that for dramatic? It doesn’t help that his babysitter keeps telling me “he’s just not ready” (love you Kris haha).

One morning, I got up and thought- this is it. I put him in a t-shirt and underwear and sat him on the potty every hour. We haven’t had many accidents, and he is almost ready to be sent to school on Monday in underwear. We really turned a corner these past few days and he has only been wearing a diaper to bed at night. I must say, it is SO cute seeing him as a big boy in underwear. I thought a small part of me would be sad not having a baby who wears a diaper (I know, that sounds weird), but it’s actually amazing. I am so over running out of diapers and buying diapers blah blah. So yeah if I am boring you to tears sorry, but my whole world this past week has been centered on potty training Max… and hey, what do you know I think it worked!

On a different note, how cute is this little summer romper? I kid you not, I wore it 3 times in the first week that I got it. As a mom, I love the ease of slipping on all-in-one outfit like a dress or romper. It’s fast, you don’t have to coordinate separates, and you look automatically pulled together since it is dressier than denim. I typically wear a size small, but I got this in a medium. When it comes to rompers, I almost always size up to a medium because I am tall and having it ride up your coosie is not a good look. LOL. The last I checked this exact romper is available in limited sizing, but I also linked some other cute similar options below.
