This post is going to be short & sweet because this girl has some wrapping to do! And no, I don’t have my Christmas shopping done yet. oops.
I have a hard time categorizing my personal style because I really don’t really stick to a particular style. I like to have fun with fashion and change it up. With that said, I am a total girly-girl, and even if I go from boho one day to prep the next, there is one thing that stays the same. My style is always ultra-feminine. So it’s no surprise that I love floral prints. I really do wear floral prints all year long. Living in Orange County where winter is only 2 months out of the year, makes this especially easy to do. This floral top from Stevie Sister is right up my alley. With all my hair, it can be kind of hard to see but it laces up in the front. Lace-up tops are so popular right now, and that trend will continue on into 2016.
To keep the outfit from feeling too spring, I paired with my favorite pom beanie and my Stuart Weitzman Lowland boots. Let’s chat about these boots for a bit because I really do get a lot of questions on them.
Ever since I was a little girl, shoes have hurt my feet. I can’t get away with wearing cheapie shoes because they literally kill me feet. I would rather have a few great pairs of shoes (that are maybe more expensive) than a bunch that I won’t wear because I know I will be paying for it. Stuart Weitzman is my go-to for shoes because they are so beautiful & well-made and don’t hurt my feet.
I first fell in love with these over the knee boots back when I included them on this collage. I am obsessed with the color, and I really like the heel which makes them more wearable. They definitely run big. I am typically a 8/8.5 in shoes, and I got these in a 7.5. I have a narrow foot, and I wear a thin sock so keep that in mind. The trick to getting these babies on is folding the shaft down in half, sliding your foot in, and then lifting the shaft back up. Once you get the hang of it, you can get them on really quickly. I have thin calves and these fit great. They don’t look too loose, sag, or fall down. They lace up in the back (which I think is so cute), and I usually double tie because throughout the day somehow the tie always comes undone. I seriously get so much wear out of these boots (more than I thought I would), and I love how they are chic yet comfortable. You can check out some of the other ways I styled them recently here and here.
Thank you so much for stopping by! I am sure you have some last minute online shopping or wrapping to do yourself! Check back tomorrow for a cute Christmas post!
