Striped Sweater Dress

Sometimes I find a great new piece for my wardrobe, and that piece will inspire me to plan an event just to have an excuse to wear it. Like say I am browsing the new arrivals at Revolve and come across a hot little dress and I think to myself- this would be so perfect for Vegas. And then I start thinking, hey we haven’t done a Vegas trip in a while… LOL okay for the most part the Vegas trip doesn’t happen but a girl can dream.

When I saw this striped sweater dress, I thought- what are we doing for Valentine’s day? I love that this dress has both red and hot pink in it. For Valentine’s I would probably pair with a bright hot pink or red bold lip and a cute flirty braid in my hair. The best part about this dress is it’s under $75, and if you catch it at the right time you can get for even cheaper. I got a small, and I feel like the sizing runs one size big. The small is definitely roomy on me (well okay except for the bust), and honestly I started thinking this would be such a cute maternity dress because there is so much stretch and room in the midsection. I started picturing myself Amber Fillerup style with a cute printed dress snug over my baby bump, and it got me thinking maybe we should have another baby… totally kidding!
