Snake Bag
Cape: Windsor Shay Cape Blazer c/o | Tank: Cupcakes and Cashmere sold out (similar here) | Jeans: A Gold E Sophie High Rise Skinny | Bag: Henri Bendel A-List Snake Satchel c/o | Boots: Stuart Weitzman Lowland Bordeaux
I wore almost this exact same outfit for date night a few weeks ago. My hubby and I were trying to grab a quick glass of wine at this cute restaurant before going to see a movie. We literally walked in circles around the bar area, and there was nowhere to sit or even stand. My husband pulled me aside and said, “People are staring at you. I think it’s the cape. They probably haven’t seen anyone wear something like that before.” LOL
I am a little late to the cape game, and this cape is actually my first. Let me tell you why I am a newly converted cape lover. So like I said, I wore this cape for date night and the weather that night was cool but not cold enough for a jacket (for me anyway since I am always hot), and it kept me perfect temperature-wise. And more importantly… it looks so chic!
Is it just me or is snakeskin print popping up everywhere? I see it mostly on bags and shoes, and I am very drawn to it. I am definitely a fan of snakeskin, but for some reason I especially like it in pink. I (embarrassingly) actually own another pink snake bag (which I wore most recently in this post).
Hope you have a wonderful weekend! I can’t even begin to tell you how much Valentine’s Day cuteness is coming to the blog the next few weeks.
