In case you missed the word on the street, fall is all about plaid. At least in my eyes anyway. If you didn’t catch my most recent post wearing the comfiest plaid shirt ever, you can see it here! I had my eye on this plaid dress for a while. It was one of those items that stayed in my shopping cart for a bit before I pulled the trigger and purchased. Maybe because it is so stinking hot outside still (ugh). I am still shocked by how much I love this dress and when I say love I mean LOVE! It is really flattering and gives me the illusion of a butt which I definitely don’t have. It’s cute; it’s modest; and easy to throw on. I have a feeling I will be reaching for this a lot on the early days Max has school.

I spiced up the plaid with pops of red. I am a firm believer that every woman should own a tube of red lipstick. I am wearing M.A.C. Ruby Woo, which is one of my favorite go-to red’s (and might get a lot of use with my new red bag).
