In case you missed the word on the street, fall is all about plaid. At least in my eyes anyway. 🙂 If you didn’t catch my most recent post wearing the comfiest plaid shirt ever, you can see it here! I had my eye on this plaid dress for a while. It was one of those items that stayed in my shopping cart for a bit before I pulled the trigger and purchased. Maybe because it is so stinking hot outside still (ugh). I am still shocked by how much I love this dress and when I say love I mean LOVE! It is really flattering and gives me the illusion of a butt which I definitely don’t have. It’s cute; it’s modest; and easy to throw on. I have a feeling I will be reaching for this a lot on the early days Max has school.

I spiced up the plaid with pops of red. I am a firm believer that every woman should own a tube of red lipstick. I am wearing M.A.C. Ruby Woo, which is one of my favorite go-to red’s (and might get a lot of use with my new red bag).
