Pink Feather Jacket

Lately I have an obsession with everything feathered and furred. It started with this fur ball keychain. I don’t actually use the keychain for keys. I clip it onto my handbag as a fun accessory (see what I mean here). Then I spotted this pink feather jacket. Definitely not one of those wardrobe staple pieces that I love to invest it, but a girl has to have some fun! What’s not to love- it’s fuzzy, the prettiest shade of pink, and so girly and feminine. When we shot these photos it was over 100 degrees outside, and just holding this feather jacket in my hand made me sweat. This little lover is so pretty and would definitely keep you warm and cozy.

While a pink feather jacket may not be a staple piece, this faux leather pencil skirt is. It is the perfect skirt to wear to work. It is so versatile! I can see it styled so many different ways- with a blouse tucked in and high heel sandals, a turtleneck and boots, or a sweater and pumps. I have to admit when I ordered this skirt I wasn’t expecting much. It’s faux. It’s $63. But let me tell you it is G O R G E O U S. It looks really expensive. Great quality and well made. I am really impressed! If you are in the market for a leather pencil skirt, this is your girl.

Another one of my favorite basics is this white lace tank. The lace trim detailing is my favorite. It is so delicate and pretty! I also wore the same tank is this post here, and it continues to be something I reach for in my closet. Having those basic staple pieces in your closet is the key to building a timeless wardrobe with the ability to mix and match with endless options.
