In case you haven’t noticed. I am always laughing or smiling, but definitely more so when I am with my friend and blogger Danielle from DKW Styling. Danielle is also my hairstylist, and seriously I wouldn’t have the hair I have today without her so if you have hair envy just go see Danielle. 🙂 Danielle and I have very similar fashion sense (and hair haha), and we always have so much fun shooting together. We are excited to team up and share one of our favorite fall trends- over the knee boots.

Nothing says fall style more than over the knee boots. I am always talking about investing in staple pieces for your wardrobe, and over the knee boots are one of those items. I knew that I was going to purchase a pair of investment boots this fall, and I knew they would be Stuart Weitzman. I had a hard time differentiating the styles online so I went to the retail store to get the scoop and try them on in person. I really like their 5050 boots which are not as aggressively tall if you are nervous about going so tall. They hit right to my kneecap, and there is an amazing sapphire suede color that was so very tempting. The 5050 is their best selling boot, and you really can’t go wrong.

However I knew I wanted a higher boot, and I narrowed it down to the highland or the lowland. I love the simplicity of the names. The highland and lowland are exactly the same boot, but the highland has a higher heel. How easy is that? Danielle is wearing the highland, and I am wearing the lowland. I love the versatility of the lower heel which I can dress up or down, and it gives a boho vibe which I am into. The burgundy color really stands out, and I am excited to pair it with my floral swing dresses. With the over the knee boots, there are endless styling options, and you will be seeing lots more of these beauties in the months to come.

Thanks for stopping by, and I hope you will come back soon!

xx Missy
