Happy Monday! I hope you all had a great weekend. Have you ever noticed that sometimes the weekends where you have no plans or expectations end up being the best weekends of all? And the opposite- the weekends where you make an effort and plans, end up being a flop? Usually by the time the weekend rolls around, my husband and I are both so tired from the week. We keep the weekends pretty mellow- we BBQ, go on walks, hit the park, and generally just hang out. This weekend I was determined to show Max a good time. We planned to hit the beach on Saturday and Disneyland on Sunday. On Saturday, I woke up feeling under the weather so we never made it to the beach. We made it to Disneyland on Sunday, but Max was unusually cranky. He is 2, and I don’t think he quite gets the whole Disneyland experience yet. He mostly wanted to touch every trash can and climb little fences to play in the grass. My husband and I eventually gave up and let Max wander around wherever his heart desired in the hopes that he would wear himself out.
I am glad it is Monday and a fresh start to a new week! Today is day 1 of a 21 day clean eating challenge that I signed up for through my gym. I try to eat pretty healthy on a daily basis, but my downfall is chips and other processed foods. The first few days of clean eating are always very hard for me because it makes me feel pretty sick, but I know in the long run I will feel so much better and have more energy. I will keep you guys posted on how it’s going, and feel free to comment below if you are interested in getting details.
I love crop tops, and there are so many cute ones out there. Personally, I think crop tops are best styled with a high waisted bottom. That way little to no skin shows, so while flirty it is still classy (and can help camouflage any problem areas). I love the bright yellow bird print on this crop top, and it looks especially fresh paired with bright white. This would be such a cute look for date night.
