I don’t know about you, but I’m in a total candy coma over here. I don’t really have a sweet tooth for candy, but I was INTO it this past weekend. It’s all about having the full-on Easter experience, right? We had such a good Easter. We jam-packed a lot of Easter activities into one day. We ended up having brunch at home. I made waffles, eggs, bacon, & fruit (check out our tablescape here). We had an Easter egg hunt AND a scavenger hunt which led to the Easter baskets. I did a scavenger hunt for Lily the last Easter she was with us, and she was super excited to do one again this year. If you google Easter scavenger hunt, there are cute ones that you can print out for free. This year I wrote all the rhymes myself, and they were pretty terrible haha but it made it fun. After Max’s nap, we dyed Easter eggs and grilled steak and veggies on the bbq.

With Easter come and gone, I think we are all finally feeling like spring is actually here. Because I love wearing florals and bright colors so much, I have a lot of fun styling outfits in the spring. I don’t own a lot of one shoulder dresses, and I just love how the shoulder on this one by Cuddy has a ruffled sleeve. It is literally my favorite part of the dress… and of course all the pretty blue colors. I wore this dress for dinner one night when we were in Hawaii, and it is seriously the perfect little vacay dress. The fabric doesn’t wrinkle, the blues are so perfect for a tropical setting, and it’s so cute! I added a pop of coral orange with these earrings, and layered the blues with my YSL clutch. I actually wore this clutch quite a bit while we were in Hawaii.

If you aren’t following me on Instagram, you may have missed that I was on Catalina Island this past Friday. My friend (and photographer) Taylor and I took the ferry from Newport and spent the day there. I can’t wait to tell you about all our adventures starting with our bumpy ferry ride. It was my first time on the island, and I was blown away by the gorgeous views and I am already itching to take an overnight trip. Check back to the blog soon for my Catalina Island recap.

****Cuddy is offering 20% off this dress with code “sapphirediaries” at check-out! Code expires a week from today so get it while you can!

Have a great week!
