Outfit Details:

Dress: Glamorous | Bag: Topshop sold out/ older style (similar style for under $100- love!) | Sandals: Schutz | Hat: Anthropologie | Bracelets: Samantha Wills sold out/ older style (love this one and this one!)

The little white dress is the epitome of summer fashion. It is timeless, always on trend, and universally flattering (as long as you have the right shade of white). Every time I buy a white dress, my husband asks, “don’t you already have one like that?” and I get so exasperated, but I suppose I can understand where he is coming from. And I will continue to stuff my closet with more white dresses. I especially love when they have pretty lace detailing like this one does. This little white dress is my current favorite and a steal of a deal for $108. It tends to sell out quickly so get it while you can! I know I will be reaching for this dress all summer long (probably too often). However the great thing about a white (or black) dress is that it is a blank canvas and you can completely change the look with different accessories.

I kept this dress looking fresh and light with a straw hat (that has the most adorable pink pom trim) and a few of my favorite bracelets by Samantha Wills. I first talked about these bracelets here. I got them a couple of years ago and recently rediscovered them in my drawer and have been wearing them nonstop. I love it when I become obsessed again with something I already own. I don’t know if anyone else does this, but sometimes I think of things in my wardrobe in a cost per wear basis. It might be the OCD in me, haha. If I wear something often enough, the cost per wear is low and I feel like the item I purchased was a good investment. The fringe bag I am wearing also has an excellent cost per wear ratio. I got this bag from Topshop maybe 7 years ago, and I still love it and wear it all the time. Whenever I do, I get so many compliments. Don’t be afraid to invest in a quality fringe piece because despite it being trendy right now; it is a trend that continuously comes back into style.

Hope everyone had a great Father’s Day weekend. Here’s to a great week! And lots of juicy drama on The Bachelorette. 😉

xx Missy
