Lace-Up Back Dress

I’m sure by now we’ve all heard that the hottest trend for summer is anything off-the-shoulder. And while I am still into the off-the-shoulder trend, I have a new obsession. I think it all started with this dress. My dream dress. I stalked this dress for so long hoping it would go on sale because there’s no way I can justify spending that much money on a dress. (It did go on sale, but not in my size). While I love the floral print and femininity of the dress, my favorite part is the lace-up detailing on the back.
A few months later I fell hard for this dress which of course is pricey too (darn me and my stupid expensive taste!)… but a little more within the realm of possibility. It’s been on my wish list for maybe 4 months now, and I still love it just as much. And again, it’s the gorgeous lace-up back that makes the dress. As a side note, I am really digging everything this copper color right now… it’s such a perfect shade for summer!
That clinched it for me… I needed a lace-up back dress, and I think you need one too. It reminds me of the off-the-shoulder trend in that it’s a way to reveal skin, without really revealing anything. I did my research and found some gorgeous (and more importantly AFFORDABLE) options. Like this one that I am wearing. It is hands-down my favorite piece in my closet right now. Last I checked it was low in stock, so grab it while you can! After I shot my photos, I was running around doing some errands, and I got so many compliments and people asking where I got it. I also looooove this similar dress, and I plan on getting this one. If you want a pop of color, this blush pink dress is $70. And while this swimsuit cover-up technically isn’t lace-up, it’s all about the pom-pom detailing on the back. I want it all!
