Happy Monday! Is it just me, or is this summer flying by? I know a lot of people are die hard summer fans, but I am more of a fall/winter girl. I guess it is easy for me to say that because I live in Orange County, and we don’t get much of a winter here. I just love cooler weather where you can wear scarves and boots and light candles inside and snuggle under blankets with coffee. We are finally starting a pretty major remodel on the entire downstairs of our home so over the next couple of weeks I have to box every item up and get the house ready. I wish I could fast forward to the end of September when the house is all done and fall is kicked into high gear. It’s going to be tough not having a kitchen and having our house under construction for 6 weeks. eek!

I have been literally counting down the days until I can share these beautiful floral wide leg pants with you. They are my favorite! I don’t wear a lot of purple. It may be hard to tell from the photos, but the base color of these pants is a grayish lavender. If you have been reading along you know I am a sucker for a floral print and wide leg pants so this was pretty much a done deal. 🙂 These pants could be styled in endless ways. I think it would be really striking with a bold colored burnt orange or dark purple top to bring out those pops of colors in the pants. I chose to keep the look soft, airy, and pretty by pairing with a Cupcakes and Cashmere white tank with lace trim.  This top is so delicate and pretty and it really added to the femininity of the look. I am really loving the Cupcakes and Cashmere line. There are so many great basics like this chambray top and this perfect turtleneck sweater. My favorite piece of their line (of course) is the floral romper that I wore in this post here.
