Floral Swing Dress

I have a love affair with anything Paper Crown + Rifle Paper Co. If you are unfamiliar with the line, it is available at Anthropologie, and you should definitely check it out! Paper Crown is Lauren Conrad’s clothing line, and Rifle Paper Co. is a stationer especially known for their amazing floral prints (obsessed!).  You can see one of their dresses I styled here, and Paper Crown’s bow-back turtleneck I wore in this post here. This floral swing dress is the perfect fall transition piece and would also look great with knee high or over the knee boots. I layered the dress with a Free People shaggy fur vest, and lately I can’t get enough of vests!

I will admit… as I write this I am completely delirious. We vacationed at our family’s beach house in Cambria this past weekend. When you have a kid and take them on vacation, the vacation actually drains you instead of rejuvenating. Moms, you know what I am talking about. I wouldn’t have it any other way- it’s so fun experiencing things with your child because it makes everything feel new and exciting again, but at the same time when you are on vacation, all your daily routines go out the window. The first to go is nap & bedtime which keeps getting pushed back later and later until your kid turns into a cranky monster.
