From Barbie to boho. 🙂 If you missed my last post featuring a Barbie inspired outfit, see it here. I have a really hard time categorizing my style. Do you have the same problem? I can appreciate pretty much every style- from grunge to preppy and almost everything in between, and because I get bored with styles fairly quickly I often change it up. I really enjoy whatever the latest trend is and usually jump on the bandwagon, but I try and put my own spin on it so it feels more like me.
When I first started this blog and was putting together outfits, I was thinking to myself… would people like this?… or does it follow current trends? My blog is still really new- like under two months new, but I can already see myself getting more comfortable and easily throwing outfits together that reflect my personal style.
So this dress… oh how I love this dress. I wore it for the first time shopping at Fashion Island with my favorite little shopping buddy (Max), and it was windy that day and I could see my dress floating behind me reflected in the store windows. It looked very cool (and I don’t think anyone saw my underwear LOL). I got so many compliments on my dress that day, and a few people who worked at Nordstrom approached me and said they were stalking my dress haha.
This floral maxi shirt dress encompasses so many things that I love- mostly white, floral, and a statement making silhouette. I have really been enjoying wearing fedora hats this spring even though I typically think of fedoras for fall & winter. I think they look so cute and season appropriate when paired with a spring dress. If you are following me on Instagram, you already know how I feel about these shoes. So cute and comfy, and they go with so many things. Get them quick because they tend to sell out. You have been warned.
Here’s to a great weekend!
xx Missy
