My mom and I were talking on the phone the other day about how we save the nice items in our closets and only wear a small fraction of our not-as-nice clothes. I must have subconsciously picked up this habit from her, and my grandma (her mom) was the same way. You might be surprised to hear that I do this since I blog outfits and love fashion so much. And I will admit, it is kind of weird. I think a better philosophy is to dress like each day is special. I know that I feel like a better version of myself when I feel good in what I am wearing, but still it’s hard to change the habit.

These tassel sandals were definitely on my do-not-wear radar because they are so damn cute. I realize how silly that sounds. 🙂 I absolutely love them, and they make me so happy whenever I wear them. They are one of those purchases that I fall in love with a little more each time I wear. I must admit though that they can be kind of crazy to get on, but once you are laced in and ready-to-go, they are super comfy.

As soon as I got this floral dress, I thought to myself… what event should I save this for? It is one of my favorite things in my closet for spring. I love the sweet floral pattern with the slightly sassy midriff cutout. I have seen so many different people wear this dress on Instagram, and despite us having different body types it looks so flattering on every. single. person. I just got back into working out a few weeks ago, and my trouble spot has always been my lower abdomen. Especially after I had Max… although if I am being honest it might have looked the same before I had Max, ha! Maybe I eat too many carbs or I need to start promoting that tea I see on my Insta-feed all the time (lol). Anyway, the cutout is placed right above my trouble area, which makes it a perfect date night dress because I can eat as much as I want. 🙂

P.S. Both the dress and sandals are selling out so get them quick while you can. P.P.S. The dress is under $100!

Thank you for stopping by!
