Floral Blouse Leather Miniskirt

I bought this leather mini skirt for Vegas a few years back, and I have to admit I am kind of shocked with how much wear I’ve gotten out of it. At the time, I had just transitioned Max from nursing (he nursed for 20 months, egad!) and he was finally sleeping through the night which is another story for another day. But anyway, I was ready to P-A-R-T-Y! I paired with a one-shoulder black top tucked in, and it was super cute, but honestly I was just happy to be out among adults. 😉

Nowadays, I like pairing my leather mini with different things… usually keeping the top more conservative to balance the shorter length of the skirt. You can see how I paired this same leather mini with a graphic band tee in this post here.

One of the questions I get asked most is- where do I find my style inspiration? I find it everywhere- on celebrities, in magazines, Instagram, while I am out running errands. Sometimes an idea pops into my head, and I have no idea where it came from. This usually happens while I’m driving. I was out shopping the other day and spotted a girl wearing this floral blouse, and had to track one down for myself. It is on sale so make sure to get yours before it sells out. It has the prettiest ruffle detailing which I wish you could see better in the photos. #toomuchdamnhair 🙂
