The holidays are behind us, and I am already in major New Year’s resolution mode. It might have been all the over-eating and over-indulging I did over the holiday. January is all about fresh starts and is a great time to start new habits. I remember reading that Monday is the best day to start a new routine or habit, and January 1st is really the holy grail to set yourself up for success when trying to implement a new habit. Over the last few months, I have been so busy that I completely stopped exercising. I haven’t gained weight, but I can tell that I’ve lost my muscle tone and am a little bit grumpier. I used to do a lot of Bikram yoga (hot yoga), and I am considering starting that up again.
One thing I am completely committed to doing is taking care of my skin and implementing a skin care regimen. I ordered some beauty products using gift cards I got for Christmas, and I will share what works for me on the blog.
So let’s chat a bit about this outfit. I posted a sneak peek of it on my Instagram and sold more of this sweater than anything else on my blog. Because I live in Orange County where it’s chilly only maybe two months out of the year (and I am one of those people that is always hot), I don’t buy a whole lot of sweaters and jackets. When I first got this sweater, I seriously wore it three days in a row. It’s the perfect comfy sweater to throw on first thing in the morning, and the neutral color ensures that it goes with pretty much everything. I am tall and have long arms, and the sleeves are long even in the size small so that is always a major plus. The floral bell bottoms are so fun & fashion forward. They are comfortable, and obviously I love the floral print! They sort of feel like wearing leggings, but without the pajama feel. Flare jeans have been so popular this past year, bell bottoms are surely the next progression.
