Fishnets

I bought these fishnets from Free People on a total whim, and I can’t stop wearing them. I have seriously worn them with maybe 4-5 different outfits in the past two weeks. On a rainy day, I even wore them layered underneath a pair of ripped skinny jeans (see that here). I think they are so fun and add interest and texture to any outfit.

I wore this exact outfit to an event at Louis Vuitton for UNICEF last week and got so much feedback from a few of my blogger friends that I had to photograph this for my blog. This black turtleneck mini dress is a long-time favorite, and it’s from Bebe like ten years ago. I still love it as much today, but for obvious reasons it is completely sold out. I’ve linked some super similar options above and below. I love that the turtleneck keeps the dress looking classy and classic and balances the short hem line. It really just goes to show you how important it is to find classic wardrobe staples that never go out of style.
