I seriously love Halloween, and it’s especially fun where we live. Our neighbors get really into decorating their homes, and they pass out the good candy.. like full size candy bars. This is the stuff kids’ dreams are made of! The neighborhood where I grew up definitely didn’t have anything like that. Max had a blast, and there is nothing that makes my heart happier than seeing him happy. He really isn’t into candy quite yet, but he is a little worker bee and loves the whole process of filling up his bucket with candy. When we hit the first few houses, he was a little shy and could barely squeak out a trick or treat but by the end of the night he was screaming trick or treat, smell my feet… (oops). I think we went trick-or-treating for like two and a half hours, but the night flew by. You can get a peek of our Halloween costumes on Instagram.
Meet my new favorite LBD. When I saw this dress, I knew I would love her and had to have. It reminds me of the little white dress I wore recently in this post, but the lace panel on this dress is lined. I am especially obsessed with the bell lace sleeves. Anything flared, bell-shaped, or ruffled is on trend for fall, but if you are a little hesitant to wear oversized bell sleeves, this dress is a great option. It’s perfect for upcoming holiday party season, and work appropriate too! I paired with my Miu Miu ballet flats which I have been wearing with everything lately… they are so comfy but I still feel stylish when I wear them. When I first got them, they were totally sold out but it looks like they are restocked in all sizes. I am also loving these dupes for less.
I have to admit I am totally dragging right now. After we went trick-or-treating last night, Chad and I got sucked into watching too many episodes of Below Deck. We are totally hooked, and all I want to do is binge watch it. I think my husband and I might be the only ones watching that show (LOL) but I am totally okay with that as long as they keep making new seasons. We are even thinking how cool would that be if we applied to be charter guests?!
