You know you are having a love affair with your jeans when your husband says, “I think you’ve worn those jeans every day this week.” Hmph. He might have been exaggerating by a day or two and mind you I did give them a good wash once mid-week, but it made me realize how much I love these jeans. The funny thing is they were in my potential “return” pile (do you have one of those?), and I threw them on one day to drop off Max at school and haven’t looked back since. They are high-waisted, and I haven’t worn a high waist jean in a while and forgot how great it feels. So yeah, LOVE! 🙂

Its finally starting to get chilly in Orange County, and I am taking full advantage by wearing beanies and sweaters daily. The problem is by afternoon the weather is sometimes in the 70’s, and it can feel kind of ridiculous. I paired my favorite jeans with a chunky cardigan (under $100!) and fringe booties (20% off using code BLOG920 thru Dec 31st). I think the booties make the outfit, and I love the movement of the fringe. I originally thought I would pair with dresses, but the fringe gets kind of crazy once you start moving and the shoe works best with jeans.

It was a very busy weekend in the Ulmer household. We have been working nonstop on getting the house ready for a mini holiday home tour. 🙂 Stay tuned!!

xx, Missy
