Fall Trends 2015

Okay, so I might be jumping the gun here, but I am kind of excited about fall. Even if you don’t want summer to end, it is a great time to start thinking about which pieces you can use to transition from summer to fall. I am really loving a few trends that are emerging, and I have rounded up my top 5 favorite fall trends.

1. Pop of Red For me personally, a pop of red is always in style… whether it be a bright red lip, shoes or bag. However, this fall it will be a major trend. I have done a few looks with pops of red that you can see here & here. I recently purchased these red ghillie flats, actually I got them in black too, fully intending to return whichever pair I liked the least but that didn’t happen. They are both beautiful, fit perfectly, and reasonably priced. Ghillie flats are very on trend right now. I have been seeing them all over Instagram, and I am sure you have too. They would make a great work shoe because the lace up detailing dresses them up, but they are comfortable since they are flats.

2. Flare Denim Put away your skinny jeans and your boyfriend jeans, because flared denim is making a comeback. I for one am excited. I love my skinny jeans and my boyfriends, but I am ready for something different. When you find the right pair of flared denim, it will really elongate your legs. Make sure to pair with tall shoes. There are so many cute ones out there, but my favorite find is this pair which is so cute and under $100!

3. Leopard Booties Yes, to this! I am torn between this pair and this pair. I think I love them equally, but you be the judge. I think they would look especially cute paired with stripes or a pop of red.

4. Black & White This is another one of those trends that isn’t really a trend. It is such a classic look that almost always works. See how I style outfits black & white both here and here. Take your summer whites to fall by adding in a punch of black- like a black skinny belt around a white dress or white wide leg pants or pairing with black booties. I just ordered this basic black & white striped tee for $30! Such a great casual top to pair with denim or leggings.

5. Mules I am seeing mules everywhere, and I am obsessed. They are such a great transition to fall shoe and would look great with your flared denim. This pair is exquisite, and this pair is beautiful but more affordable. There are so many options out there, but I am especially loving all of the mules by Vince.
