Fall Staple: Over the Knee Boots

The house is clean, the outfits have been chosen, and the wine purchased… we are officially ready for Thanksgiving! Clearly I am not doing the cooking this year or my “to do” list would have been a lot longer ha. I am so lucky to have a mom who is a food blogger and makes our Thanksgiving feast every year! She’s the one who encouraged me to start my blog, and I am so thankful for her. Look at me trying to keep with the Thanksgiving/thankful theme. 🙂
This outfit is so fun and has a bit of holiday flair with the oversized bow detail on the off-the-shoulder top and the faux fur clutch. I paired with distressed denim skinnies (just got them, obsessed) and my favorite black over-the-knee boots that I got at Nordstrom. Nordstrom is my favorite place to shop for shoes for a lot of reasons. They have the best selection, and if there is a shoe I want… they almost always carry it. And I feel comfortable buying shoes from them because I know they have a great return policy. I do a majority of my shopping online because it’s too hard to bring Max shopping with me, and Nordstrom is great because they always have free shipping.
I can’t stop wearing these OTK boots… they are an investment purchase, but I am definitely getting my money’s worth. I am constantly reaching for them, and they go with almost everything- fitted jeans, leggings, skirts, dresses. They instantly add a chic/wow factor to any outfit, and if you are going to splurge these are the item to do it. They are classic, and the same style keeps coming back year after year. However I know they are an investment so get the similar look for less, this pair is beautiful too!
