Fall Florals

Two trends I am absolutely loving for fall are florals and velvet. We usually think about florals in the spring, but this year fall florals are a thing. Especially when they are in a moody, darker print like this dress. I am a huge fan of prints, especially floral prints so I am excited that this is a thing.

Velvet has been big the last two fall seasons, but this year I can already tell it is going to be bigger than ever. Seriously, just type “velvet” in the search bar at Nordstrom and see how many matches come up. It’s crazy! I am especially loving velvet on handbags and wrap dresses.

The Gucci velvet bag I am wearing is the small size, and it’s big enough to fit all my essentials including iPhone Plus with room. The same exact bag also comes in a medium size. For a more affordable velvet handbag option, this style is so cute and comes in so many colors. I think my personal favorites are the black (can’t go wrong) and the blue.

Unfortunately, that one sold out quick but I am REALLY into this one and this one. In fact I may have just ordered the navy velvet wrap dress and you will see it on the blog soon!
