I consider myself a dress girl, over any other type of clothing- even jeans. Dresses are ultra feminine (obviously) and an all-in-one outfit so super easy to throw on and look pulled together (which is key when you are a mom and have to rush getting dressed). As a side note, I miss those days where I could take my time getting dressed without any interruptions… not that I appreciated or realized how good I had it then. haha So you are probably wondering where I am going with this since I am wearing a skirt in this outfit post. The perfect accompaniment to a dress is a cute denim jacket. Denim jackets are so summer appropriate and perfect to throw on over your sundress to take a look from day to night. It is hard to find the perfect denim jacket, but I have found it for you. The moment I tried on this jacket, I loved it. It fit perfectly and looked great with what I was wearing that day. That’s when you know you have a winner. The flowy pink skirt that I am wearing is from Anthropologie from a while back, but I linked a few that I spotted at Nordstrom that have a similar feel, even with the elastic waist band. The two skirts that I linked from Nordstrom are way cuter in person. This outfit is casual cute and goes from day to night with the addition of the denim jacket. It would be an awesome outfit for a low key date night. Speaking of date night, tonight is The Bachelorette! Oh how I love Monday’s.
