Black Off the Shoulder Dress

So clearly I am still going strong with the off the shoulder trend. I love how flirty and sexy it is without actually revealing anything. I spotted this ruffled, black off the shoulder dress online, and it was a love at first sight kind of thing. The shape of this dress reminds me of this two piece matching set that I wore in this post here, but it is a one piece so if you don’t want to show any midriff this might be more up your alley.

Although it feels like summer in Orange County right up until about Thanksgiving, right now when I shop I look for transitional pieces that can take me from summer to fall. This off the shoulder dress is a great example of one of those pieces. It is lightweight and works well for summer, but it would also look cute in the fall paired with some booties. My favorite time of year is fall and winter, and I am counting down the days until I can pull out my scarves, sweaters, and boots.
