Black Lace Up Mules (and a little red dress)

December 26, 2016

Dress: Topshop Strapless Lace Midi Dress  (and here!) | Heels: Payless Ghillie Mule c/o | Clutch: Kayu Tide Black Velvet Clutch c/o (similar option on sale here) | Choker: Cristabelle Crystal Choker Necklace (on sale!!!)

I hope everyone had a very merry Christmas! Aww the day after Christmas is always a little bid sad, am I right? We hosted Christmas at our house so my house was full with family and laughter, and now it seems empty, well except for the bajillion toys that the kids got for Christmas. And I have no idea how we are going to integrate them all into our home. Thank goodness there is still New Year’s Eve to look forward to, and I have a little NYE outfit inspiration for you on the blog today!

A little red dress is a show-stopper. It always stands out and is always classic… never out of style. I love this one for it’s lace and simple silhouette. The strapless cut is sexy but still classy, and this dress is perfect for New Year’s Eve! And there is still time to order. 🙂

I paired the LRD with black lace-up mules, a velvet clutch, and an embellished choker. Chokers have been in for a while now, but my new favorite version of the choker is the embellished kind with rhinestones and crystals. I am also IN LOVE with this one, which is on my wish list.

I absolutely love partnering with Payless. You can catch up on a few of my favorite Payless posts here and here. I am a girl who definitely loves her splurges, but I can honestly say I have several pairs of shoes from Payless which I wear all the time (like this pair that I wore to the movies last night. They are like comfy slippers!). People are always amazed when they find out my cute shoes are from Payless. The shoes are great, and the price is right! I love their kids’ shoes too, especially since kids shoes are so pricey and they get destroyed and grown out of so fast. I am obsessed with these black lace-up mules. Lace up anything has been a huge trend this past year, and these mules work great for a winter, going-out shoe.

Thank you so much for stopping by! Make sure to check back to the blog this week for more New Year’s Eve outfit inspiration!! xo
