Hi guys! It was nice taking a little break from the blog over the 4th of July weekend, but it also feels really good to be back. I swear so much has happened in the last week or so. I was only just talking about how we were in a time crunch to get Max potty trained to start summer school. Fast forward to now and he is not only potty trained but we also got rid of the binky! Yay us!! And as I am sure you are wondering, Max is 3 1/2. I guess part of me liked that he had the binky because it kept him a baby. Sometimes I would hold him when he first got up from his nap and he would suckle on it and the noise even soothed me to fall asleep. Ha!
I noticed one day that his bite was noticeably off, and that’s what really pushed me to work on getting rid of the binky. It was really so uneventful taking it away so he was definitely ready. He whined for a few minutes before nap and bedtime the first day, but within a few days he stopped asking for it. I can already tell that his teeth are shifting back into the correct position which is so crazy. Max seems like such a big boy lately. He is going to summer school 3 days a week in the morning now, and he absolutely loves it. As a bonus, I am excited to have that extra time to dedicate to my blog! I have some new content and exciting posts coming to the blog soon so stay tuned!
One of my favorite combinations is something feminine paired with a leather jacket. It balances the sweetness and gives it a little edge. As soon as I saw this cold shoulder romper, I immediately ordered it… I love it that much! It is even prettier in person and looks great on it’s own. Pairing it with a leather jacket is a great way to take this cute romper from day to night.
