I’m officially an Orange County girl again. Max and I had been staying out of town at my mom’s house for the past few weeks during the first part of our home remodel. We just got back into town this past Monday, and Orange County feels all new again. The sky so blue, the trees so green, and the streets so trash free. 🙂 Sometimes you need a break from somewhere to see it with new eyes and appreciate it all over again. Anyway, I am back! The kitchen is not finished so we have been eating out almost every meal or eating at home, on the floor picnic style. I can’t wait until our remodel is done and even more excited to do our home reveal. In the meantime, let’s talk about the fall pieces that need to get into your closet STAT.
Lace up tops are a huge trend for fall 2015 which is why they ranked #1 on my fall must-haves for 2015. This one is my favorite (duh it’s burgundy), but I LOVE this one too! In addition to lace up tops popping up everywhere, I am also seeing a ton of army green in military style tops, dresses, and jumpsuits. Every time I see another army green shirtdress, I think to myself- ohhhh I really like that! I think I have about 5 versions of the same dress favorited online haha. Of all the olive green dresses out there (and there are A LOT!), this one is my pick because is it cute and has a great price point.
I am all about investing in staple pieces for your wardrobe. A perfect white shirt is in my top 5. It seems so simple, but is it just me or is the perfect white shirt just hard to find? I own this one (which I wore here and here) and highly recommend, but you can never have too many.
A little black dress is another one of those staple pieces that every woman should have in her closet. For fall, the little black jumpsuit is a fresh take on the LBD, and this one is gorg!
Probably the most popular viewed item on my blog is these booties. They are a great basic, go with everything, and the price for the quality is really good. They are super easy to throw on with dresses to make your look more fall appropriate. I wore them most recently in this post here.
In just a few short weeks it will officially be fall. My house remodel will be done. We can stop eating on the floor, and I can’t wait to do the simple things like make breakfast in my kitchen and light a (pumpkin scented) candle. Oh, fall I love you. Will you get here already?
Thank you so much for stopping by! 🙂
