Don’t even get me started on how much I love this outfit!!! My birthday is at the end of the month, and even though I have no idea what we will be doing, I am already planning what I am wearing (of course) and this outfit is a strong contender. 😉 My hubby and I don’t get out on date nights as much as we want to because our family doesn’t live near us to help watch the kids, so whenever a birthday or special anniversary comes up I get super excited for the chance to dress up. For me, planning the outfit and looking forward to the event is almost as much fun as the event. Anyone else feel that way?
I love wearing red- it is so feminine, yet makes such a strong statement. I don’t have anything like this red floral romper in my closet. It is such a unique piece! The bold floral print feels very modern, and if you know me by now you know I am just crazy about rompers and floral printed anything. I paired the romper with a Clare V. leopard clutch for a mixed prints look. You can see another look I styled mixing a floral print with a leopard here!
One of the easiest ways to transition your summer wardrobe to fall is swapping out your sandals for booties. Booties look great with everything- dresses, shorts, you name it! It will instantly take your look to fall transition without adding extra layers in the heat. These Vince Camuto booties are such a great basic, staple piece and are so versatile because they are black. There are so many great, affordable booties out there, and this pair and this pair top my list of favorites.
New York Fashion Week has officially started! I had been debating for a while on whether I was going to attend NYFW, and ultimately decided against it this year. I am so excited to see what my favorite bloggers are wearing and the new trends that are emerging. I will definitely be chatting about what I see on the blog so be sure and check back.
Have a great rest of the week, and thank you so much for stopping by!!!!
xx Missy
