It’s Monday, and I have to admit… my Mondays are a little bleaker when the Bachelor/Bachelorette is not in season. I haven’t been watching a lot of TV lately (unless you count Chuggington with Max), and Bachelor in Paradise was the only show I was watching regularly. What this says about me, I don’t want to know. haha! I actually even got a little teary eyed during last week’s finale. Despite the fact that many of the couples’ relationships fizzle after the show ends, I am always still hopeful and optimistic for the new couples. I love Tanner & Jade together. I kind of thought they were boring on the show (which is a good thing! That means they weren’t having any relationship drama for the camera crews to capture). But then I really got invested in them when Jade told Tanner that he is the only guy that ever gets her. And when he looked her in the eye and answered something along the lines of “I think I do,” he was so hot and confident! Okay so moving on…
Recognize this dress? It also comes in a bright orange red that has been worn by every blogger and her sister. 🙂 This dress kind of reminds me of the jeans in the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants. It looks good on everyone. I mean, you just have to read the amazing reviews. The dress is pretty on the hanger, but you really have to try it on to get the full effect. It is SO striking and flattering. I think part of it is the bold color and the flowy fabric, but it’s the fit too. It fits like a glove, nipping you in all the right places and flowing out perfectly in the others. The only possible drawback is that it runs long. I am over 5’8, and I definitely have to wear decent sized heels or else it drags a little on the ground. I still rocked it with flats one time, but I had to keep picking it up as I walked. The orange-red color comes in petite sizes so that’s definitely the way to go if you are on the shorter size and don’t want to deal with getting it hemmed. This blue and white maxi dress works great for fall and would be fun to pair with a moto leather jacket for a fun twist.
Thanks for reading, and I hope you will check back!
