Navy Corduroy Shirtdress

A few years ago I had a navy corduroy shirtdress from Anthropologie, and I looooved that thing. I seriously wore it maybe once a week. It was my go-to when I had to throw on something quick for work. I would change it up with different belts, etc. I always felt good in it, and I never got tired of it (which is a rare thing for me). I wore that dress until it was no longer wearable, and in retrospect I wish I had bought two. Have you ever loved something so much you bought another one to have as a back-up after the first wears out? I have done that maybe once or twice in my life, and I should have with that dress.

Anyway I spotted this Alexa Chung for AG navy corduroy shirtdress, and I obvi knew I had to have it. And this time I was smart and bought two (kidding).  Fall is just around the corner, and this is such a great staple piece that you can change up the look with different belts and layering with scarves. I styled with my Schutz suede sandals (another great piece for fall), but it would look so cute with some booties too.

Shirt dresses are so classic and timeless, and I have linked a few of my other favorites below. I am especially loving them in white.
