Well HELLO loves!
If you follow me on Instagram, you might have noticed that I recently moved. I really can’t go into too much details yet… mostly because I don’t know quite what to say. Except that life is getting real. I still live in Orange County, and my new place is just a few miles from my old house. In fact it kind of reminds me of a mini-version of my old home which is probably why I like it so much.
Today’s blog post I’m really excited about because one… I’m blogging (YAY!) and two you get to peek into what will be my blogging office (definitely not fully decorated yet) and three it’s in collaboration with Bloomingdale’s, and I haven’t worked with them before. And I’m SO EXCITED!
I have been a long-time fan of Bloomingdale’s for a lot of reasons. One year we invested in new luggage for the entire family, and we got back such a huge chunk in rewards I was completely astounded. They have a huge selection of my favorite brands, and I love that they seem to constantly have fun sales and promos… including some of the items I am featuring in today’s post which I got at full-price.
Because I just moved, I spend most of my time trying to get things organized and situated. And when I do that I want to be comfy! Right now I am currently addicted to two things- bodysuits and beanies. I have been wearing a bodysuit almost daily, and beanies are great because you can hide yo messy hair. 😉
If there’s one piece that every girl needs in her winter closet- it’s a black turtleneck. I’m donating all my other black turtlenecks in favor of this Wolford turtleneck bodysuit. I love the clean look of a bodysuit versus a top, and it is so flattering. This turtleneck bodysuit is pricey, but it is an investment you will have f-o-r-e-v-e-r and get endless mileage mixing and matching with your wardrobe. This turtleneck bodysuit has a cult following and rave reviews. It truly is a classic piece that you will have forever. Also as a bonus, the material is so soft and comfy, it feels like pajamas.
I upped the comfy factor by pairing with this pom pom beanie which comes in SEVEN colors and matching pom-pom slippers which also come in gray. Now if Orange County weather could get the memo that we are in November and it’s fall that would be great! I totally tried to rock this outfit when I ran out for errands but had to switch out the beanie because it was so stinking hot.
I’ll be sharing more peeks of my new home.. make sure you are following along on Instagram.
