Blue and White Floral Dress

It has been way too long since I have posted anything blue, and I love this blue and white floral dress. When I saw it at Anthropologie, I immediately thought- yes! I love white, clearly love the blue (Sapphire), and it has a floral print so it was a no-brainer for me. It is flowy and interesting, and has a high-low hem which I am a big fan of (see the other dress I wore with a high-low hem here). I paired the dress with neutral toned accessories so the dress could be the star and the blue would really pop. And this dress was made for a tropical vacation. Don’t these photos look like they were taken in Hawaii? They were actually taken here in Orange County where I live. I don’t live right on the water… maybe 20 minutes away, and I know this sounds bad but sometimes I even forget the ocean is there. It is crazy how easy it is to take things for granted when you live somewhere. When we took these photos, I was actually looking out at the ocean and it was pretty incredible. We are starting the process of remodeling our kitchen (so excited!!!) so a Hawaii vacation is just not in the books right now, but this photo session inspired me to plans some staycation activities here in Orange County.
