Basic B*tch: Stuff I’m Buying Edition 01

I hope you all had a good Mother’s Day. I have to admit… ours was kind of a weird one. We plan on a do-over today! Lily celebrated with her mom yesterday so we have her tonight, and I am going to open cards, etc. How was that for vague? 😉
I’m REALLY excited about today’s post, and if you guys like this style of post I’m thinking it would be a fun thing to do on the regular. Lately I’ve been shopping up a storm, and instead of waiting until I post an outfit pic I’m sharing allll the things I’m buying. And right now it’s neutrals. Those pieces that you can endlessly mix + match.
I have to admit this is not the norm for me! I usually LOVE statement pieces… like this ZARA bag I ordered is the perfect example. The thing is those pieces usually don’t have a long lifespan. And they are so BLAM, in your face, you really can’t wear them all the time.
The items on this round-up are classic, neutral, with a moderate price point. My very favorite things:
this bodysuit. It’s $20! So much cuter than a standard tank top because you know it will *tuck* perfectly into your jeans.
this trench. Currently on sale! A trench is actually one of those items that I am ok with investing in because it is a classic piece than will never go out of style. I plan on using this trench as a light layer over this perfect LBD for dinner plans Saturday.
this top. I pre-ordered this pretty top and can’t wait for it to get here! Love it for date night paired with jeans and heels.
these mules. I’ve already worn these several times and have had them less than a week. The perfect neutral! You can also find them here!
these sandals. These are a dupe for the way more expensive Isabel Marant studded sandal. I wasn’t sure if I would like these in person, but as soon as I got them and tried em on, obsessed. So flattering! How cute paired with a white dress?!
Linking all the items above and below. Please comment below if you like today’s post and want to see more of these types of posts. Have a great week!
