Short Overalls

I am obsessed with overalls. Obsessed. However, I had been on the fence on buying a pair for myself for quite some time now. And if I felt that way, maybe you do too? My biggest concern was that they would look frumpy and/or my husband wouldn’t like them. Up until recently, to feed my obsession I had been buying all sorts of overalls for both Lily and Max. Poor kids haha. Lily would never complain, but I know she isn’t super into wearing them because let’s face it when you are a kid you just want to play, and having to unbuckle and buckle them throughout the day is kind of a hassle. Max, the lucky boy, gets to wear both overalls and suspenders. I can’t even handle the cuteness that is suspenders on little boys. My favorite place to get them is Zara. They always have a lot of good ones, and Max owns more than I care to admit.

Anyway, I finally decided that I needed a pair too after spotting these distressed short overalls online at Revolve, and I am so happy I did. I am tall and usually wear a size small, 2/4 for reference, and I couldn’t fit the small size over my butt haha. And I don’t have much of a butt. So if you are going to get these (and especially if you are tall), think about sizing up. Overalls are so classic with a white tank so I just had to style with my current favorite white tank. I have been getting so much wear out of it, and it is a perfect basic for summer.

As for my husband, he ended up loving the overalls. 🙂
