A Peek into My Kitchen

I am so excited to finally share a peek into our newly remodeled kitchen! Keep in mind this is just a little peek, and I will be sharing photos of the entire kitchen with before & after shots sometime in January. I have a passion for interior design, and I am hoping to incorporate more of that into the blog in the new year. I am already thinking about New Year’s resolutions, and one of them is getting my photos organized and finally putting up my gallery wall. However, I am trying not to think about any of this until the rush, rush of Christmas is all over.

Our kitchen was really dark before the remodel- dark cabinets and countertops and the room doesn’t get a lot of light. I love how the all-white really brightens up the kitchen and makes it a happy place. I really enjoy spending more time in there, and I can tell Lily & Max do too. Max and I had so much fun decorating these gingerbread cookies. I had big plans to make them from scratch using my mom’s famous recipe, but the reality is I can’t do it all so we bought some from Whole Foods. Max had so much fun playing with the red hots, I don’t think he cared. 😉

I sure wish I had this huge farmhouse sink when Max was a baby. It would have been perfect for bath time! I am looking forward to making lots of new memories in this kitchen.
